My first wedding of the year – on a very chilly Saturday!  Stephen is a friend of my husband so I was delighted to be asked to photograph the wedding day at Saint Michael and All Angels Church in Summertown, and afterwards at Islip Village Hall.

I arrived to take some photographs of Vanessa having her hair and make-up down – she had a leisurely morning getting ready, which is just perfect to keep the nerves and excitement under control!  I then popped over to the church in Summertown, Oxford.  It was a crisp and breezy day, Stephen had a few photographs in the sunshine before disappearing back iside the church to greet guests and wait for Vanessa’s arrival.  The ceremony soon started in this beautiful church – the settings is simply stunning with a very large stained glass window and immense columns up to the vaulted ceiling.  After the ceremony the guests were treated to tea and cakes before heading off to the village hall for the wedding breakfast and very entertaining speeches.  The Ceilidh band entertained the guests into the evening, to end a very memorable, fun and enjoyable day.  Congratulations to a fantastic couple!
