The wonderful wedding day of Talita and Ben started with bridal preparations at Milton Hill House Hotel.  I met Talita and her bridesmaids and various friends and family members in the morning – everyone was very excited and full of energy!  It was a beautiful Spring day and the sun was streaming into the honeymoon suite, we couldn’t ask for better weather.

Milton Hill House Hotel weddings are always amoungst my favourites – you can’t go wrong with such a beautiful wedding venue, well established grounds and friendly and helpful staff.

Before we knew it Talita was dressed and ready to depart, and we made the short journey over to Our Lady and St Edmund Church in Abingdon for the wedding ceremony.  It was a very warm day and the bridal party were all waiting outside for the bride’s arrival.  Its always wonderful to see so many children running around in their smart outfits, they are such an important part of the day.

I very much enjoy Abingdon wedding photography in particular as its my hometown, and I often meet people I know who are guests at the wedding.  The service was wonderful and the church was filled with family and friends from near and far who had travelled to celebrate this important day.

We were soon heading back to the Milton Hill House wedding reception with drinks for the guests on arrival.  I took a walk in the grounds with the newlyweds for some portraits in the grounds – I feel this is an important part of the day as the bride and groom can spend some time alone together.

After the group photos it was time for the speeches and the wedding breakfast – the children were having a great time with the disposable cameras! It was then time for the cake-cutting and dancing before I headed off, leaving the party in full swing.

Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness x
