I was absolutely delighted when I heard about Louise and Dominic’s plans for their wedding in Oxford.  As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer with a relaxed style, I love outdoor tipi weddings and farm weddings, with animals and haybales and festival lights!  Louise and Dominic were married in Oxford at Garsington Church followed by a farm wedding reception at Louise’s family home – perfect for relaxed wedding photography in the Oxfordshire countryside!

I started the day at home with Louise for a few photos of everyone getting ready – there was a lot of laughter as everyone enjoyed a few sips of champagne and having their hair and make-up done.  I took a walk down to the wedding tipi with Louise’s wonderful mum for a look around as the final preparations were being made.

It was a warm sunny day as I headed over to the church to meet Dom and his groomsmen as well as their lovely dog Fred who was wearing his suit from Canines & Confetti.  The guests arrived and took their seats in the church, and Louise soon arrived for the ceremony.  What a beautiful bride, I love her dress from Bridal Reloved Wallingford.  In all the excitement someone had to rush back for the flowers, but we were soon ready for the wedding ceremony.

Louise and her bridesmaids entered along with their dog Brilleaux.  Garsington Church is beautiful, with so many charming features and stained glass.  There was plenty of room for all the family and friends to watch these two wonderful people tie the knot.

After the ceremony we took a few family photos at the church.  The guests enjoyed the warm sunshine and chatted to each other before it was time to depart through a tunnel of confetti.

Louise rode her horse Henry back to the farm and Queenie also joined for the walk.  When they arrived at the field we had time for a few photos of the horses.  I’m so pleased that the weather allowed for Louise to ride on her wedding day.

And now time to relax at the wonderful tipi, which looked truly spectacular in the afternoon sunshine.  The guests were chatting and sipping drinks when we arrived.  It was soon time for the speeches then a fabulous meal followed, provided by Jayne Clarke.  There was a surprise for the evening as an incredible fireworks display was arranged.  Time to cut the cake and dance the night away, with fantastic dj music provided by Matt from Visually Sound Events.

What a pleasure and privilege to meet your wonderful family and friends and to be a part of your perfect wedding day x
