Esther and Leo are the most wonderful couple, and it was such a pleasure to photograph their garden wedding ceremony followed by their wedding reception at Phyllis Court.

I arrived at the house during the preparations, with Esther’s brother doing make-up whilst the bridesmaids and family were typing flowers and getting clothes ready.  It was such a fun atmosphere as we all headed off to the garden wedding.  The ceremony was conducted by a close friend, with the guests seated in the amphitheatre watching on.   We then had time for a few group photos before the rain started as Esther and Leo left the wedding through confetti and rain drops!

Luckily the rain didn’t last long, and we stopped along the way for a few photos with the campervan before heading to the Phyllis Court wedding reception.  The guests were awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom, before heading inside for a few drinks in the incredible venue overlooking the river, with wonderful views from all angles.

We had some fun photos in the grounds with the couple and the bridal party.  The vast lawn in front of the main building is very majestic, and the gardens are beautifully planted.  It was soon time for speeches, with a trumpet to announce the guests, as well as some fun drumming!  It was soon time for the dancing, with a live band providing the entertainment.

I must mention Esther’s wonderful cake which she made herself, it was beautiful and unique and she is incredibly talented.  You can have a look at her amazing cakes here
