I was delighted to be chosen by Emily and Marcus for their Oxford wedding photography over the summer. Take a look on my inspiration page for more marquee and rustic weddings in Oxfordshire.

They had an English Countryside theme, and they certainly carried it off in style, right down to the individually hand-stitched place settings for each guest.

Emily, her parents, sisters and lots of delightful children were all at the house for the preparations.  Emily walked up to the church near her childhood home, which was full to the brim of family and friends to witness the wedding. The entire wedding party then walked back down to the house for drinks and canapes on the lawn followed by some portraits in the open fields.  We also photographed the groups before everyone proceeded into the marquee.  It is one of the best-decorated I have ever seen – loads of potted plants, a scarecrow, and lovely details on the tables.

The speeches commenced followed by a meal and celebrations. To round off the day there was the most amazing sunset, with further opportunity for gorgeous photos of the newlyweds.

Congratulations, Emily and Marcus! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together.
