Charlotte and Ed’s Oxford Thames hotel wedding was definitely one of the most fun and relaxed weddings I’ve had the pleasure of capturing. The day started and ended with gorgeous sunshine, which always adds to the mood of the day.
Charlotte was getting ready with her adorable bridesmaids and her son, who was the most handsome little pageboy and definitely stole the show! I captured a few unposed moments during the preparations as well as some family photos of Ed.
The gazebo is a beautiful spot overlooking the river, and very popular for a relaxed outdoor wedding ceremony in Oxfordshire. Once the guests were seated we waited for the very cute bridesmaids in matching purple dresses. Charlotte and her dad were right behind, and Charlotte looked absolutely beautiful!
The ceremony was romantic and fun, and such a special moment for this wonderful couple. Tommy joined us for the signing of the register, and it was then time for a few drinks on the lawn overlooking the boat and river.
After a few group photos we took a stroll around the grounds for portraits of the bride and groom. The Oxford Thames Hotel has lovely areas for wedding photos, and we even went onto the boat for a few.
The wedding party then moved to the Little Barn for the wedding speeches and meal, followed by the cake-cutting. The wedding cake topper from Artlocke Designs deserves special mention as it was fantastic! It was then time for the dancing, and even a special dance prepared by Charlotte and her Dad which was such fun to watch. What a perfect day! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness Charlotte and Ed!
