Destination weddings are so exciting, but can be stressful too! When it comes to photography, you need to know that your photographer will not only communicate with you in the run-up to your day, but will be available after the wedding to provide your final set of photos, without worrying about them being in a different country and speaking a different language. I am an Oxford destination wedding photographer in Italy and France, and I can’t wait to hear about your plans for your big day!
Why book a destination wedding photographer?
There are many advantages to using a UK-based wedding photographer for your destination wedding photography. Before the wedding, we can enjoy endless emails and Skype chats to establish the important details, locations and ideas you would like captured. On the day there won’t be any issues with language barriers, or working with a photographer who is not flexible with your requirements. After the wedding I will share “sneak peeks” as soon as I can for you to share with your family and friends. I will be in touch with you during the preparation of your final set of photographs from your amazing day, as well as afterwards to prepare your album and prints.
There’s a photographer included in my package already
I work in an unobtrusive manner to capture your day in my unique style, and I do prefer to work alone. However I am happy to work alongside your other photographer, as long as there are guidelines in place for allowing me to choose where to stand during the ceremony, and a couple of other details we can discuss.
Are you familiar with my location?
Probably not, which is why I always travel to your wedding the day before so that I can familiarise myself with the location, as well as find a few lovely spots for your portraits. However, my style of photography is to capture your day as it happens, so being very familiar with the venue is not something to worry about. I capture emotion, light, atmosphere and love, and I am skilled at adapting to different locations and lighting conditions.
As I’m travelling the day before, I can be on hand to capture a sunset shoot, or a gathering of family and friends!
Can we have a pre-wedding photoshoot or family photoshoot?
Absolutely! Depending on the timings, I will do my best to allow 30 to 45 minutes for a photoshoot in the afternoon before the wedding, to capture a few informal and fun photos at your location. We can also have a quick chat about the plans for the following day, the weather and transport, and any last-minute changes or updates. I can also hopefully meet your wedding co-ordinator and a few of the bridal party.
How much will it cost?
The package pricing below includes all flights, accommodation and transfers. There are no hidden costs! If you would like to add an album to your package then I can discuss album options when we meet.
Europe – 1 photographer – £2000
Europe – 2 photographers – £3000
Rest of the world – 1 photographer – £3500
Rest of the world – 2 photographers – £5000
