I was at Harris Manchester College the weekend prior to Andrea and Jonathan’s wedding, so I knew they would be delighted with how lovely the gardens were looking for their big day.  I love Oxford University weddings – there are so many beautiful Colleges in the area, all unique with their own history and architecture.

It was a beautiful sunny day so I took the opportunity of a few photographs of the buildings and surroundings before a few informal photographs of Jonathan with his family and ushers prior to Andrea’s arrival.  I must say that Andrea looked beautiful, and couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle to greet Jonathan.

After the ceremony we had time for group photographs and drinks in the gardens before we took some time away from the guests for a walk around the grounds.  The bride and groom portraits are one of my favourite parts of the day – there is some time for the newly married couple to have a few quiet words alone and to spend some time together, and we took some lovely portraits with the backdrop of those very impressive buildings.

Soon it was time for the wedding reception, and the hall looked fantastic.  I left everyone enjoying the rest of their evening after a wonderful wedding day.  What a beautiful location for a University wedding in Oxford.
