Mary and Andy’s church ceremony followed by their wedding reception at Old Luxters Barn near Henley was one of my most memorable weddings!  I was delighted to provide wedding photography in Oxfordshire for their wonderful wedding day.

The wedding b&b for bridal preparations was truly the most magical place, with a garden full of hidden treasures.  I wish I could go back there and explore further!  Mary and her bridesmaids and family were getting ready in a very sweet little cottage, and there was a buzz of excitement whilst everyone had their hair and make-up done.

We were soon ready to head to the wedding ceremony at East Hagbourne church.  The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day as we headed into the church after a few quick photos.  The star of the ceremony was definitely Mary and Andy’s beloved dog Luna who was very much a part of the service.  There were some lovely readings and singing too, and everyone then headed out into the sunshine.  The newly married couple were greeted with confetti!  The family photos then followed, and we headed back to the magical b&b for some photos of Andy and Mary.

I need to mention this beautiful location again.  Manor Stable Cottage is in the village of Blewbury, and you can rent it on AirBnB (link in auppliers section below).  It was the location for filming of Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Christmas, and is just to most charming place.  We had a wander around the grounds for a few photos of Mary and Andy, and we then headed off to continue celebration the wedding at Old Luxters Barn.

As we arrived we were greeted by the guests, and had a few more group photos befire quickly disappearing to the vineyard.  This is a location I really love, it is very unique and such a lovely place for photos.

There was plenty of time for the guests to enjoy chatting before heading into the lovely barn for the wedding breakfast.  The barn was decorated in a rustic woodland theme and looked beautiful!  After the speeches it was time to cut the cake, then we headed back into the barn for the dancing.  The music was provided by a wonderful swing band, and the first dance was brilliant!  The guests soon joined the dancefloor for plenty more dancing.

What a truly perfect wedding day, wishing you both a lifetime of happiness x
