I’m a Cosener’s House wedding photographer based in Abingdon, I live 5 minutes down the road!  I absolutely adore this wonderful venue, and I love to photograph weddings here. When I arrived I had a walk around the grounds to capture a few outdoor shots with the spring sunshine before heading indoors for the shoot.

The Wedding Photographer

That’s me!  Carol Elizabeth Photography is based in Abingdon, and I actually got married at The Cosener’s House, so it’s very close to my heart.  I have known and worked alongside Kelly, Dawn and Sharon for quite a few years now, and I trusted that they would create unique and classy styles for our styled shoot.

Bright, Bold and Jewelled

The first setup is opulent and colourful, based on a Peacock Jewelled look.  A selection of bold, bright fresh flowers created the pièce de résistance.  Beautiful Ester & Erik Taper Candles in Peacock blue complimented the handmade turquoise glassware.

For the stationery, Kelly created a bracket shaped table number with the royal blue double satin ribbon, gathered centrally with a ‘windsor’ style embellishment.  A peacock feather simply tucked into the ribbon and bold gold leaf was used to add an air of luxury.
The same style was followed with the individual menus which were delicately placed on the napkins, gold leaf accents and gold and royal ribbon to continue the same detail bringing in the colours binds the whole look together.

Cream and Glass Elegance

This setup captures the feel of Timeless Elegance.  Hydrangeas fit the brief perfectly, quintessentially associated with the British garden.  Cut glass bud vases continued with the feel and by adding the pop of colour with fresh blooms complimented the stunning soft pink chiffon runner wonderfully.  This look was finished off with stunning napkin details of pearls & floral blooms and Ester & Erik Taper Candles in Dusky Pink.

The pale blush table runner went perfectly with the blush pink ribbon on the stationery.  The floral accents on the stationery picked up the pinky tones with the floral arrangements and the vintage style glassware added the romantic feel, a perfect combination!

Foliage Tablescape

Greenery is a bang on wedding trend.  An abundance of greenery was used for the tablescape to create the overall tone of the floral display with spring blooms added to soften the overall feel.  Candles create a romantic and intimate atmosphere.

The range of stationery from I Heart It wedding Stationery perfectly matches the look and feel of the tablescape, and really adds a feeling of luxury to any wedding layout.
