Caroline and Dave’s wedding at Cogges Manor Farm near Witney happened on one of the hottest days of the year, with gorgeous sunshine all day.  As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer I often enjoy capturing relaxed and informal weddings in rustic barn and farm venues.

I joined the bridal party at Witney House B&B, which is a delightful place with gorgeous rooms and plenty of light.  It’s always a joy to work with Louise Buxton from Love Beauty and Make-up who was applying the finishing touches when I arrived.  The ladies finished off their make-up then shared a quick glass of bubbly, then we headed to the Cogges Farm wedding ceremony.

Dave and the guests were ready and waiting for the bridal party to arrive.  Caroline wore her mother’s wedding dress and looked really stylish with a vintage twist.  The bridesmaids were dressed in a lilac colour and a splash of colour was added by the beautiful sunflower bouquets.

The ceremony was held in the barn, which has a rustic feel and can be dressed to suit your personal style.  A wedding at Cogges Manor Farm is always relaxed and fun, and today was no different!  The guests were seated on haybales and enjoyed watching Caroline and Dave exchange their vows.  After the service we had a wonderful confetti photo before everyone enjoyed a drink to cool down in the warm sunshine.

The couple took a stroll in the grounds to see the various farm animals and the beautiful walled garden.  We captured a few relaxed portraits before heading back to the celebrations.  After a few family photos there was plenty of time to get unposed wedding photography of the guests enjoying the day.

Soon it was time for speeches and the ice-cream van and the evening celebrations.  What a fabulous end to a wonderful day!  Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.
