Welcome to Carol Elizabeth Photography!
I’m a fulltime wedding photographer in Oxfordshire with a natural and informal style.
Hi! Thanks for visiting! Choosing a wedding photographer who will fit with the mood and style of your day is a big decision.
I’m calm, professional, observational and unobtrusive. I will make sure there’s time for you to drink a glass of champagne with your guests, I will capture plenty of candid photos of your friends and family enjoying your day, and I will create timeless and relaxed portraits of you to show off your beautiful venue, dresses, shoes, suits and flowers.
Most of all – I want you to enjoy your magical perfect day, and to show the emotion, fun, laughter and happy tears!
Not keen on having your photograph taken? No problem!
I will give you as much or as little guidance on where to stand, what to do and where to look as you need. If you would rather just walk to the end of the lane whilst chatting then thats fine too.
If I sound like the photographer for you then please click though to find out more about me, and don’t hesitate to get in touch!
I am a qualified member of The Guild of Photographers and SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Professionals) This means that my work has been assessed by a panel of professional photographers and passed the stringent requirements for achieving a Licentiate.
I am also an Adobe Certified Expert in Lightroom, which is software used for processing after your wedding day.
Being a female wedding photographer means that the bride will feel far more relaxed having photos taken whilst putting on her wedding dress and during the preparations. I also feel that I have a greater understanding of the emotions the bride experiences on her wedding day, and I can also help with a lot of practical things such as how to lace your dress, pinning button holes etc!
I’m married and I live in Abingdon – we have two sons who are the most adorable little people in the world. When I’m not taking photos or editing, I enjoy travel, cinema, eating out, baking, going on walks, going to the theatre or just some family time.
I feel that over the years I have always known the brand and image I would like to portray in my work, and I feel that I have refined my style of wedding photography to be natural, classical and informal with attention to detail and beautiful post-processing to make your images really stand out.
Although there is always plenty of time during the day for documentary wedding photography, such as during the bridal preparations, ceremony, speeches and chatting to your guests, I also feel an important part of the day is spent with the bride and groom capturing those special emotions after the wedding ceremony. This also allows the bride and groom a few moments away from the celebrations to spend with each other, and is a really nice part of the day.
I love bride and groom portraits – natural and comfortable, but showing off the beautiful wedding dress and flowers, and capturing beautiful portraits which not only you but your family and friends will treasure,
If you would like to find out if I’m available to photograph your wedding, or if you have any questions, then I’d be delighted to hear from you. Please fill in the form below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can to discuss your wedding. I look forward to hearing from you!
