WELCOME TO CAROL ELIZABETH PHOTOGRAPHY
Natural and informal wedding photography for your perfect wedding day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website and to have a look at my work. I am a wedding photographer based in the beautiful riverside town of Abingdon-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. I am relaxed and fun, organised and professional, and I will capture your day in my natural and classical style.
I have a background in IT and I believe that the post-processing and presentation of your images is extremely important.
I have two gorgeous little boys who certainly keep me busy!
Being a wedding photographer is like no other area of photography. It’s fast-paced and I need to think on my feet! My approach to wedding photography is a natural and informal – I feel it is important to capture the more traditional group and portrait images, but it is equally important to include some fun and unstaged images which make up the essence of your wedding day and add the “wow” factor to your collection of photographs.
Please take a look at my blog to see some of my latest weddings.
Please take a few minutes to have a look at Talita and Ben’s wedding at Milton Hill House Hotel – please click below! They had a church wedding in Abingdon, followed by group photos and bride and groom portraits at Milton Hill House Hotel. What a wonderful day.
I am a licensed member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Professionals) This means that my work has been assessed by a panel of professional photographers and passed the stringent requirements for achieving a Licentiate. I am also a member of the Guild of Photographers.
I run a professional photographers’ forum so help with sharing of knowledge and encouraging photographers to interact with each other.
Above all I love photography and generally don’t leave the house without my camera!

“We loved her albums, the price was right and most importantly she understood we were looking for something really relaxed. No times or deadlines as she seemed to be the photographer we spoke to that understood this. We also loved that she was so easy to talk to.”
“We met with a few people but we felt that Carol understood what we wanted the most nothing was to much trouble and she made me feel relaxed about having my picture taken as I hate it, a lot of our pictures I didn’t even know she took, we felt Carol got the most amazing natural pictures of us.”
“Carol was fantastic! She understood what we were looking for and took amazing quality photos. She managed to capture a step by step of the day including all the little details that would be easily forgotten. She was easy to talk too and helped us create some memorable moments. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from her.”
I feel that over the years I have always known the brand and image I would like to portray in my work, and I feel that I have refined my style of wedding photography to be natural, classical and informal with attention to detail and beautiful post-processing to make your images really stand out.
Although there is always plenty of time during the day for reportage and informal wedding photography, such as during the bridal preparations, ceremony, speeches and chatting to your guests, I also feel an important part of the day is spent with the bride and groom capturing those special feelings and emotions after the wedding ceremony.
I love bride and groom portraits – natural and comfortable, but showing off the beautiful wedding dress and flowers, and capturing beautiful portraits which not only you but your family and friends will treasure,
Why I love Oxford College Weddings
I spend a lot of time at the beautiful Colleges in Oxford, capturing the wedding ceremonies and also wedding receptions in these beautiful and historic buildings.
I feel it is an honour to be asked to be with you on your wedding day, and the location you have chosen to celebrate your marriage is very important to me.
